Big Bother
The annual freak show that is Big Bother started tonight. Am I the only one who doesn't give a toss who is in the house! Oh well here's to twelve weeks of mind numbing TV, bring back the test card all is forgiven. My mate Matt just had this great idea - "I recon they should send them all in 1 year and don't film them. So when they come out no one is there". Now that would be TV or not as the case would be.

Haven't they already done that in effect, with the space cadet thingy?
I'd like to rise above it all and follow the wise words of Linda Smith and not so much starve them of the oxygen of publicity, as strave them of the oxygen of oxygen; but I know I'll be hooked this year, just like I am every year.
Watching group dynamics and human interaction...it's irresistable.
Exactly - I think the whole concept of it is awful, and can't work out why on earth anyone would want to watch it...
And then due to others (mainly previous housemates) watching it get drawn in to the whole group interacction, seeing how different characters interact - and I know so much of it is contrived, but it's addictive.
Thankfully it's not such a big thing over here...we just have endless rounds of American Idol, which I have no trouble avoiding! :)
